Since inception Stimex Engineers is into Transmission & Distribution (T&D) Sector. Our Transmission Line Tower Plant manufactures tower Plates, Angles, and Cleats etc as per approved drawings. The plant has integrated facility from Design, Manufacturing and Testing of the Transmission Tower parts as per various Indian and International standards. This plant is one of the most efficient plant in India.
The manufacturing processes includes Cutting, Punching, Stamping, Notching, Bending, Heel Grinding, Punching/ Drilling, Pickling, Galvanization and Chromate Coating. Stimex Engineers utilizes CNC machines to a great extent. High end CNC machines provides high productivity with great reliability on the quality of the product. Hydraulic Bending Machines and Hydraulic Marking Machines are also available in this plant
A transmission line tower, also known simply as a transmission tower or electricity pylon, is a tall structure used to support overhead power lines for the transmission and distribution of electricity over long distances. These towers are a critical component of the electrical grid infrastructure and play a key role in ensuring the reliable and efficient delivery of electricity from power generation plants to distribution substations and ultimately to consumers. Transmission line towers are typically made of steel and are designed to withstand various environmental conditions, including wind, ice, and seismic forces. They come in different shapes and configurations, depending on factors such as the voltage of the transmission line, terrain, and local regulations. Common types of transmission towers include lattice towers, tubular towers, and monopoles.
Transmission towers provide a sturdy structure for suspending overhead power lines, which carry electricity over long distances.
Transmission towers are designed to maintain proper clearance between power lines and the ground, buildings, vegetation, and other structures to ensure safety and reliability.
Transmission towers support insulators, which are used to prevent electrical current from leaking to the tower structure and to provide electrical insulation between the power lines and the tower.
Transmission towers are designed to withstand various mechanical loads, such as the weight of the power lines, wind loads, ice loads, and dynamic forces caused by factors like conductor sway and galloping.
